Ever wish you had soft, pliable and conditioned plump lips?
Fed up with discomfort of dry, dehydrated or even cracked lips?
I was!!!
So I formulated this Lip treatment after a bout of Covid, along with the usual external factors effecting the tender skin on my lips.
HOW… My ointment needs minimum use and lasts all day giving relief to sore, dehydrated rough lips. Restoring softness, pliability , smoothness and plumpness.
It contains anti aging Rosehip seed oil (healing for cold sores) and Camellia oil. A barrier is built with organic Shea and Cocoa butter fats. Essential acids are provided by organic Sunflower oil and softening Peach Kernal oil. Antioxidant Vitamin E and vegetable Glycerin perform the task of attracting and holding extra moisture.
It is pleasantly flavoured by natural Chocolate flavour of unrefined cocoa butter, and Peppermint and Rosemary essential oils, which are anti inflammatory.
Chapped lips can occur due to various factors. Here are some common causes:
1. Weather: Cold, dry weather or exposure to wind can lead to chapped lips.
2. Lip Licking: Frequent lip licking can worsen dryness and cause chapping.
3. Dehydration: Insufficient water intake can leave your lips parched.
4. Sunburn: Sun exposure without protection can damage lip skin.
5. Allergies: Reactions to cosmetics, lip balms, or toothpaste may contribute.
6 Illness: your lips are sensitive to dehydration during ilness.
7. Vitamin Deficiency: Lack of vitamins (like iron or vitamin B) can affect lip health.
Lips, they are part of our face’s anatomy and work hard for you. They are constantly exposed as part of our face. As a beauty feature they service our body’s natural first path to nourishment. They relate to our mood, smile, pout, speech, and food and drink. They showcase our face along with eyes, nose, and teeth.
Lip Facts:
The skin of your lips is unique compared to the rest of your body.
Here’s why:
1. The skin on your lips has only three to five layers. This thinness makes lips more sensitive and reveals blood vessels giving them their reddish colour.
2. Unlike other skin areas, your lips lack sebaceous glands. These glands keep skin moisturized. Lips rely solely on saliva for moisture, which is why they can easily become dry and chapped
3. Lip skin doesn’t have hair follicles which can protect the skin.
4. Your lips don’t have melanin, the pigment that protects skin from UV rays. Making them more vulnerable to sunburn and sunspots. Using a lip balm with sunscreen is essential for lip protection.
5. The delicate reddish-pink outline of your lips is called the vermillion border, found only in humans.
In summary, your lips’ unique anatomy makes them softer, more delicate, and prone to dehydration
